Hiking Vikings

Hiking Vikings is an informal group within the lodge that meet to walk and socialize. The object is to provide encouragement for exercise and to help build up milage to earn Sons of Norway Gangmerke medals (click here for information on the sports medal program).

Currently the Hiking Vikings meet at 10:30 9:30 (summer only) at Columbia Park every Saturday morning. The meeting place is on the west side of the "Playground of dreams". The red marker on the map to the left shows exactly where we meet right now. Feel free to zoom in on the photo using the "+" button. (click here if the map isn't showing).

Everyone is encouraged to walk as far as they are comfortable walking, but most members typically walk one or two miles in a session.
